Mt. Pisgah Arboretum

The amazing 200+ acre Mount Pisgah Arboretum in Howard Buford Recreation Area is only minutes from downtown Eugene. Hike or stroll the large trail system at Mount Pisgah Arboretum. There are also quite a few picnic tables to be found near the main entrance to the arboretum. You can wander small meandering paths in the water gardens or walk all the way to the summit for a sprawling view of the south end of the Willamette Valley. The park is bordered on the west by the Coast Fork of the Willamette River.

There is a large parking area that only fills up on weekends and holidays. Please support the park by making a donation at the pedestrian entrance. Dogs are welcome in the park as long as they are on a leash. You'll find driving directions here.
