Florence
Located a little over an hour from Eugene on the central Oregon coast. Florence, Oregon is excellent for recreational activities include fishing, swimming, hiking, camping and boating. Take Oregon Highway 126, heading West. This scenic route takes you past Fern Ridge reservoir and continues along the Siuslaw River, which flows through the coastal range to Mapleton, Florence and eventually the Pacific Ocean.
Don't miss Old Town Florence (photo right) located on the waterfront under the bridge. Watch for signs to Old Town, which will be on your left as you enter from the east on Hwy 126.
