There are numerous options for lodging in the valley. Bed and breakfasts like the McKenzie River Inn, cabins, owner rentals and resorts are available.
The McKenzie River is visible from Hwy 126 during a majority of the drive east up the valley and again when you arrive at the headwaters. The river emanates from Clear Lake, high in the Cascade Range. The only store of any size is the McKenzie Valley Market on highway 126 near Blue River, Oregon.
