Shelter Animal Resource Alliance
S.A.R.A. is a local nonprofit organization that rescues, assists & advocates for shelter animals. Visit their cat adoption center, SARA's Treasures, at 871 River Rd. in Eugene.

Associations

Greenhill Humane Society
Located west of Eugene near the airport, provides animal rescue, education and adoption services.

Lane County Animal Regulation Authority provides service for the City of Eugene as well as unincorporated areas of Lane County, Oregon.

The Florence Area Humane Society is made up of volunteers dedicated to assisting homeless or abused companion animals in our area.

Lane County Audubon Society
A chapter of the National Audubon Society and a non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation of and education about our natural environment, with a primary focus on birds, other wildlife, and their habitats.

The Oregon Humane Society web site is fun and colorful providing lots of information on dog and cat care.

Pro-Bone-O
Pro-Bone-O provides free veterinary services to the pets of Lane County citizens who are homeless and cannot afford veterinary care. Volunteer veterinarians, vet-techs and community members staff the clinic. The clinic, located at Saint Vincent dePaul's Lindholm Service Center on Hwy 99 in Eugene, is open on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month. Pro-Bone-O provides a friendly, safe environment where vaccines, check-ups, minor treatments and pet supplies are available. The small organization is non-profit, and depends on community donations.

Shelter Animal Resource Alliance
S.A.R.A. is a local nonprofit organization that rescues, assists & advocates for shelter animals. They also operate a fund-raising thrift shop and cat adoption center, SARA's Treasures, at 871 River Rd. to support their rescue and advocacy work.

Stray Cat Alliance
The SCA is dedicated to: providing low-income cat caregivers and guardians with support, advice, and financial assistance for cat food, spay/neuter services, and veterinary care; assisting people who care for feral cat colonies; encouraging people to feed, spay and neuter and care for stray cats in their area; educating the public about the importance of spaying and neutering companion animals; preventing cruelty, abuse and neglect of cats. Also serves as a resource of other animal welfare organizations in Eugene and Beyond.
